What engines are there to choose from?

Powering the majority of the 2020 Elantra's is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque which links to the brand new Intelligent Variable Transmission. The Elantra Eco provides you with a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder unit with 128 horsepower that also includes a stop/start function and pairs with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The same seven-speed automatic is also in the Sport GT N models, but these two trims are powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
