2020 Jeep Gladiator at Pearson Auto Group

The truth is, there isn't a single vehicle in the automotive world that can keep up with what the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is bringing with it. Thanks to the Wrangler capabilities, mixed together with truck power, you will never find this vehicle balking at a challenge. Not only do you get an off-roading pedigree, but you also get gasoline and diesel engine options, best-in-class towing, and open-air freedom for those days where the weather is too nice not to enjoy. These are pretty hard features to compete with, and we know that while the competition is trying, the Gladiator has truly set the bar for a midsize truck. Keep reading down below to find out what else this truck has in store for you!

BORN FOR BATTLE

MANEUVERABILITY

Thanks to precision steering and optimized wheelbases, Gladiator can swiftly veer around narrow gaps and maneuver around rocks, logs or tight spots.

TRACTION

Traction is key when off-roading so that every wheel works to drive the truck forward. Jeep® Brand 4x4 systems help to ensure the right tire has traction when it's needed.

FACE THE OBSTACLES

ADVANCED CAPABILITY WITH OFF-ROAD+

Fine-tune your adventure with Off-Road+. With a push of the button, you can adjust throttle, transmission shift points and traction control for peak performance on higher speed passes on sand dunes or low-speed rock crawling.

FOR WHEN THEY GET STUCK IN THE MUD

Standard off-road necessities like heavy-duty forged front and rear tow hooks are perfect for helping less capable trucks get out of trouble.

EXTRA COATING FOR LOADING

IN-BED POWER UP

For convenience in any weather, an available 115-volt/400-watt power outlet is located at the rear of the bed, ideal for charging small appliances like slow cookers when tailgating.

KEEP YOUR STRINGS ATTACHED

Four strong integrated tie down loops can be adjusted as needed, including folded flush into the wheel wells when not attached to straps to maximize cargo space.

LOAD UP AND COVER UP

TAILORED FOR TRAILERING

The ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera displays dynamic wheel gridlines and features an available 4X trailer hitch zoom with dynamic hitch guideline, enabling you to align the truck more precisely with a trailer.

CONTROL YOUR TOW

The available integrated Trailer Brake controller provides adjustable braking power to your trailer's electric brakes, if equipped, so you can slow down and stop with confidence.

A CAB CRAFTED FOR ADVENTURE

CONNECTED AND IN COMMAND

Advanced technologies link you and your Gladiator to the wider world through three available Uconnect® systems.

IN TUNE WITH YOUR ANDROID™

Connect your Android™ smartphone and bring Android Auto™ integration into your vehicle. It allows you to call your friends, listen to your playlists or have texts read to you through your Uconnect® system.

What are the two engines?

As we mentioned previously, there are two engines that you have the ability to choose between. Everything starts with the well-loved 3.6-liter V6, which is able to punch out around 285 horsepower, and up to 260 pound-feet of torque. These are great numbers, especially if you are planning on using this truck as something for towing. The standard transmission is a 6-speed manual, although you can opt for the diesel engine's standard transmission, which is an 8-speed automatic. Speaking of, the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 can create up to 442 pound-feet of torque and around 260 horsepower. These are numbers that are hard to match, especially when we throw in the 7,650 pounds of towing capacity.

What trims come with the Gladiator?

Even after you are blown away by the engine options, it's important to not forget about the trim lineup that this truck comes with. You get a great selection of trims that offer you the features that you want most. Standard features, all with the Sport trim, include cruise control, a 6-way manual driver seat with height adjustment, air conditioning, Bluetooth, and a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. We also want you to take a look at the Overland trim, which comes with dual-zone climate control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 18-inch wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen, and automatic headlights. Sitting at the top is the off-roading king, Rubicon. This model includes locking front and rear differentials, tow hooks, rock rails, electronic sway bar disconnect, and front skid plates.

What safety features will I find?

Among all of this power and comfort, the Gladiator isn't stopping there. Jeep has made sure that while this truck is incredibly capable and stylish, you are also getting the kind of safety you need to make sure that your passengers are taken care of. That is why all trims are available with Jeep Active Safety Group, which gives you bright LED tail lights, rear parking sensors, and blind-spot monitoring. Other available safety features include rear cross-path detection, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning. You will never feel like your vehicle is working against you.
