What engines power the 2021 Tucson?

One of the biggest perks about getting the Tucson is the fact that you will be able to choose between two different engines. The base engine here is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, which can create around 150 pound-feet of torque and up to 161 horsepower. This engine gets around 23 mpg in the city and up to 28 mpg on the highway. The other available engine is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder, which outputs 175 pound-feet of torque and up to 181 horsepower. Both engines get a six-speed automatic transmission. You will even be able to choose between front- or all-wheel drive, depending on your specific needs. Either way, the Tucson clearly has all of the power and capability you need.

What trim levels are available?

The first trim that we are looking at with the 2021 Tucson is SE. This model comes in with stain-resistant cloth upholstery, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 17-inch alloy wheels, blind-spot compensating driver's side mirror, and a seven-inch touchscreen. Another trim to consider, Value Edition, includes rear cross-traffic alert, Blue Link Connected Car system, roof rails, keyless entry and ignition, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and satellite radio. One of the higher trims, known as Limited, adds leather seating surfaces, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, 18-inch alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel, and a 360-degree camera system.

What safety features are offered?

Even after figuring out the power and comfort of your Tucson, it's important to find out what safety features are available for you. Two of the major standard features include driver attention monitoring, and a blind spot-compensating driver's side mirror. Other available safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a 360-degree camera system, and adaptive cruise control with stop/go.
